"Beautiful restaurant, had a lovely evening with my wife on our wedding anniversary. Delicious food, excellent service by the waiter. No long waiting. The waiter ensured we were sure. Management of the restaurant might wish adding value to the service by catering for special occasions such as birthdays and wedding anniversary. We mentioned in our booking that it was our wedding anniversary but it didn't make any difference to the service that we received. That's a missed opportunity. Overall happy with the service and highly recommend."

"One of the best meals I've ever had! I've been fortunate enough to dine at several Michelin star restaurants and the Wilderness is on par for me food wise with almost anything I've eaten. I love the chef's focus on variety spectacular vegetable, fish and dessert courses as well as meat dishes. The drinks pairings were spot on, the service faultless and the atmosphere is so cool and relaxed. Great music selection too. My favourite restaurant in Birmingham and beyond."

"A very versatile menu, they will definitely find something that meets the place, as they inevitably order half of the menu as we did! most dishes can be made vegan while still the authenticity of a mumbai, gujarati, punjabi or delhi court!"

"We drove to shiraz today. ordered panir sabzi, chicken wing, saffron mushroom, chelo kebab with veg lamb chicken kewer and saffron ice. I loved the aromen in the dressed. especially the saffron. we have been dessert for free, reispudding as well as served and just literally bleeding it. must visit for persian food :"

"Warm welcome and attentive staff throughout. All four of us had different main meals and enjoyed our food which was piping hot. Nice atmosphere and as there wasn't anyone waiting for our table, we were allowed to stay drinking at the table until we were ready to leave. An enjoyable visit."

"Visited this evening as a group of 7, i very rarely write a review, but I was so impressed I felt it was only right. The service was amazing, so friendly and attentive, and the food blew us all away. I got the penne with chicken and mushroom in a creamy sauce, something I've had many many times in other restaurants, but this was easily the best! So full of flavour and a really generous portion. Other people in our group got pizzas and chicken dishes, all of which were delicious! Cannot recommend enough! Thank you for a lovely evening, Del Villaggio"

"Came a few years ago and loved it, came back and the service was good awful. ‘20 min wait’ was actually 62 minute wait for food. When we asked, we kept getting ignored or told ‘it will be right out’. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy at all, and the food was very simple. Tasty but not worth the wait. Hoping it was a one off because my last experience was much nicer"

"Fantastic fun birthday ball. I had a fabulous exciting night in the athen restaurant that was eating delicious from beginning to end could not fail. the employees really care about them and make sure they have a special night. because this was for my birthday meal, it could not have been better. everything I can say is honestly positive about it. the food was in large portions I had ordered from the party menu. restaurant was very busy, but the service was wonderful! entertainment I really enjoyed that the bauchtänzer fantastic was the Greek dance and disco music was fabulous. the staff really took care that my birthday meal was special! it was the best restaurant I was in brum!"
