"As others have already mentioned, the service was appalling. Sat in the restaurant for 15 minutes waiting for the menu, the waitress only had two other tables to deal with but seemed to ignore us, in the end went up to the bar and asked for two menus. After another long wait of 15 minutes or so the waitress came up to us and asked if we were ready to order. In total it was about an hour from when we entered the pub to getting our food. The wife enjoyed her BBQ spare ribs but the steak in my steak pie was dry, the roast potatoes were hard and the vegetables under cooked. I'm afraid we will not be returning. Parking: Large free parking area to the side of the pub."

"By far, Grille 23 is Boston's most elegant premier steak house!! Never disappoints and the atmosphere and service are unprecedented. My friends were visiting from South America and Grille 23 was the only destination they insisted upon. Wine list is fabuous too, it didn't disappoint. The 100 day aged Steak..porterhouse I think...is divine, as well as the Risotto and all time favorite side, wedge w/ crumbled blue cheese ..Yummy!!!"

"Excellent lunch time eating reasonable trips on normal plates in a wonderful friendly atmosphere. midday are special good value for money. no unusual tablecloths or china, no loud music and to earthly friendly staff. never tried the evenings so can not comment. easy to park."

"Traditional old country pub, has a dartboard and several ghosts! We were made to feel very welcome by the landlord who couldn't do enough for us. Large flat tarmac carpark. We've heard that the food is good so we'll definitely make this a regular stop over on our way to the Lincolnshire coast."

"My group of ten friends enjoyed a lovely dinner at Grill 23 in their private dining alcove on a busy Saturday night. We had excellent cuisine cocktails, wine, appetizers, a variety of steak, vegetables, desserts. The service was exceptional. This was a decades long tradition of annual dinners, last dining here in the 1980's. We've enjoyed many fine restaurants that are no longer around, attesting to the quality of Grill 23."

"The restaurant is a 5-10 minute walk from the centre of Boston but well worth the trip. The staff were friendly and could not make us feel more welcome. The food and service was first class, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves."
