"Amazing eating and service I must say that one of the better pubs in brisbane had. large entrees to share, must order filled olives that naturally fried, arancini and the oysters. The highlight was with augenfilet and the gnoochi mushrooms. we have enjoyed the private escapade surrounded by wein."

"We often resort to Jackpot when we are in a pinch with time and money for tasty food, the beef and black bean is our favourite as well as a serving of the spring rolls. Takeaway is always fast, service is friendly and for two of us we are usually well fed for under $20."

"Few places are open on sunday night downtown Brisbane, end up here. Sad place, with not the best food. Service is nice... yet not enough"

"Had a work event in the private dining room (with our own private bar) it was excellent! From the personalised menus to the exceptional food, the night was impressive. <br/ <br/ No cruddy alternate drop scenario here: instead it was shared entree platters then guest's choice of main dessert. Of the 4 starters, the duck spring rolls were the big crowd pleaser. My 12 hour cooked lamb shoulder for main was half a day well spent deliciously tender encased in a crispy char. Colleagues were equally impressed by the rotisserie chicken and risotto options. Although pretty hammered by dessert (private bar remember), the kaffir lime pannacotta was still memorable in taste appearance. <br/ <br/ For so many covers, every plate was visually exciting and welcomed with appreciative oohs aahs. There were some inconsistencies...but overall the meals were of a high standard.<br/ <br/ Rating reduction is because service was confused to start with and also an organisational miscommunication meant there was one less dessert option than expected. Slightly disappointing but not dealbreakers.<br/ <br/ Keen to return would recommend for functions or special occasions."

"We had lunch yesterday in this humble abode and what a treat it was. From the time we were greeted to the explanation of the menu, it is clear that the staff is knowledgeable, passionate and thrive in this environment. Marco looked after us and he masterfully orchestrated our lunch, we shared a platter of Charcuterie which were simply divine and a very generous serve for $25.00. Great presentation and explanation of the different style of cured meat. For main we shared the Venison and the grass fed beef, sous vide and perfectly charred and cooked. Taste and presentation were again outstanding. We drank a bottle of Chateau de Castelnau Picpoul de Pinet and a glass of Reschke Vitulus Cabernet 2010. Excellent service, funky decor, what a pleasure to witness and share this culinary Journey."
