"Absolutely delicious authentic Italian meal tonight at Luigi’s in west end! soou good! fresh made moreton bay bug ravioli with sage butter sooo good! pizza also very authentic and delicious. but the absolute showtoppers were the house made gelato! saffron, vanilla, honey and halva sensational! and mango, white chocolate goose and pine core also very decadent! great service and west end grungy street vibe made for a pleasant night! weinlist small but great too!"

"I’ve been to IFR a few times, most recently with some work colleagues. The space is open and simple, but can be subject to the prevailing weather in summer, we found it uncomfortably hot, although on a temperate July evening, it was fine. The food at IFR is always very flavoursome, if at times not particularly subtle, but always delicious. Terrific value for money, and with a great, inexpensive Australian wine list of lesser known grapes from small producers. The service is casual, which may not be to everyone’s liking but hey, it suits the overall vibe. <br/ <br/ For me not your usual Italian, great menu variety, fantastic flavours and good value for money. Thumbs up."

"Amazing! My partner and I shared the margarita pizza, truffle mushroom pasta and the rocket salad. All three dishes were exceptional. Such a cute restaurant with the little bar attached for an pre-drink or digestive. Would very highly recommend!"

"The worst experience i have had in a restaurant thus far.The service is shocking and the level of hygiene is very questionable. I ordered a pizza and found a cockroach under the cheese. I complained and they refused to accept what i had found they threw my pizza out and ignored me for 10minutes. I approached them and asked them what was being done and they said nothing because i had seen an anchovy and not a cockroach. The "anchovy" had legs, and antennaes and was definately a cockroach. Throughout the course of our argument they blamed me, and said that i just wanted a free meal and that i was a liar. They tried to make me pay for it and take advantage of my young age.I have never been so disgusted by service in my life, and thats not even mentioning the cockroach."

"We regularly visit West End for a business meeting on a Monday and often eat in Hardgraves Street afterwards for lunch. We noted Luigis was always closed on a Monday, so today we were excited being a Friday, that we would be able to finally enjoy a pizza and a glass of wine before heading back to the Gold Coast. We approached the restaurant and noted the tables were set up outside, the A board displayed and the entry door open, inside there were 3 or 4 guys at the counter, so we ventured inside only to be told they don't open until 12, and this was ten to 12!! Guys, come on, step up to the hospitality plate, you are not a bank or a post office.....there was no 'hey we are not quite open yet, but can we sit you down and offer you a drink, where would you like to sit, etc' We walked out feeling very unwelcome, and reconsidered our options. We decided to eat at another of our favourite restaurants in the same strip, great food, great service as always. We won't darken Luigi's doorstep again, the clock ticks soundly at this place."
