"Judging by its decor and branding, this seafood bar seemed to offer the traveller a more discerning dining experience than the other food outlets at Bristol Airport, and the menu prices appeared to reflect this. This was our reasoning when selecting The Caviar House and...Prunier Seafood Bar last Thursday lunch time. In view of our expectations, the disappointment when we were handed our cray fish salads priced at each, could not have been more extreme. A handful of crayfish thrown on a plate with a sweet chilli sauce served on the side, accompanied with a handful of mixed salad leaves covered with some kind of balsamic vinegar reduction, both dressings clearly bought in and not made, was not what we hand in mind. Anyone could have produced this without any smidgeon of culinary falr or training. There was no artistry, no style nor culinary integrity. Was the chef ill? Did the cleaner make the salad? The poor waitress who discharged her duties quite adequately, seemed non-plussed when we expressed our disappointment, which made us assume that she felt there was nothing untoward. Clearly it was not her fault as she is not responsible for menu planning or preparation well I hope she isn't at these prices.... What a dismal start to our weekend break. Additionally, half the items on the menu were not available. Buyer beware...."

"I love this restaurant. eating is delicious, beautifully presented, large portions. cheap. service, very friendly team, very nice people. we were also thrilled by the interior of this restaurant. cool, sea atmosphere. we also recommend sincere 'sea pearl' on bedminster. By the way, the fish that is served is wonderful. thanks to the Polish family"

"High quality food, cadjau was the most tasty we had for a long time. a little expensive at £10.00 for regular cod chips, but what is not astronomic as late rises. great eating beautiful staff."

"I've been a customer for over 4 years. the best fish merchant in bristol. it is a walk from where I live, but the fish are worth it. can always give a ring to make an order to make sure that the fish I want is there when I pick it up."
