"I came here with a friend for dinner and drinks this past summer. We were able to be seated right away at 6p on a Wednesday, but the restaurant was definitely already getting full. The cocktails were great, as was the service and the food. I don't eat meat so i was a little worried but they had a delicious veg curry dish on the menu that was very good, spicy, and a generous portion. I'd definitely come back!"

"The food (for Trinis) is hit or miss. The good thing is that even when they miss its better than most. The hit, however, make them outstanding, and your mouth will waste just thinking about eating it again. Now... service. That's an animal that can't be fixed. The lack of any salutation or the grumpy disinterest in how you receive your food is just plain old bad. This is a usual occurrence, and though anomalies happen, it wasn't the case in this last visit. Just to close off my last comment, WAYNE... how about a nice island feel? It would be great to feel like we're in Trinidad enjoying this food."

"Everyone knows Golden Krust is below average jamaican food, but the food at this location is barely even edible. Under no circumstances should anyone order oxtail from here. I was starving and love oxtail, the large only comes with about 4 pieces of meat, and I still could not finish it. The flavor is so strange like its seasoned with cilantro. The meat was dry and tough. There is no oxtail gravy, its just oil. The steamed vegetables are also seasoned in a lot of cilantro instead of thyme. The white rice was crispy and unseasoned (i ordered spinach rice but they ignored that)"

"Irie Caribbean Kitchen has the best bake and saltfish Ive dried on Doordash and their food is always consistant. I order the same thing all the time and I am always satisfied."

"Terribly dry and overcooked j chicken that was burnt and crumbly with black carbon. dried plantains. not moist, not flavourful. it all tasted stale and like a day old. The patty was fine, not amazing. But the j chicken was the worst I’ve had in my life."

"Upon walking in, the vibe was chill and calm, especially for a Sunday afternoon. The drinks were great, Including the unlimited mimosas that came with our brunch. And lastly, the food I ordered (surf turf) was very flavorful and well prepared. I had a minor discrepancy on my bill but it was promptly handled by the owner who had great communication about the matter. I would not hesitate to return here and would highly recommend."
