"We were passing through Brownsville and found this little gem here. Great service good food. We tried their fish tacos and garlic fish. They were excellent. Very fresh. Would recommend."

"Was a little expensive for thier tacos tho. Good place to eat when you are in the neighborhood. 6.00 for 3 tostadas yes a little expensive tostada is smaller than normal size. 6.00 for flautas not the biggest, but ok nothing to get off. The size of the Maistortillas is smaller than the average size y'all. So, of course, I would say a bit expensive for the meal. "

"My husband and I stumbled across this cute restaurant. When we received our food, we were surprised at how much food we received. The meal was some of the best we have had. The service was excellent as well. They would make sure we were taken care of. We will definitely come back."

"When your in the mood for fresh seafood, you must try Coctelería El Amigo. I absolutely love the ceviche and recently tried the octopus with oysters. Yum! When we are in town, we try to call ahead because there are days that the restaurant runs out of fresh seafood due to a high volume of orders. So, we make sure we reserve our order. The staff is always friendly and always accommodating to its patrons. Daniel owns this gem of a place and it's obvious his success comes from his shining example of excellence in food and service. Be sure to put this on your list of places to try!"
