"This place was well worth the 80 minute drive! I'll be back soon. The staff here is simply incredible! Not everyone speaks English, but they were super helpful from the servers, the cashier, and even the management. Moreover, I took the advice of thestaff and tried the combo plate and it was the best Mediterranean food I've ever had. The pita bread was magical and the hummuswas silk. My friend was skeptical of the hummus bowl and was pleasantly delighted. This place is individual order by app orcashier with servers delivering food which is okay for families and excellent for groups!"

"I went here on a Friday evening. I ordered a seafood platter and a lamb shank. The lamb shank was so soft and juicy. One of the best ones I have had in a while. The shrimp and salmon were also pretty tasty. I would definitely come back. They have outdoor seating. It?s a self serve kinda restaurant, you order at the counter and get the food at your table. But overall I was very satisfied with the food"

"When I want healthy food, I think Mediterranean cuisine. Thank goodness San Mateo has a Sajj Mediterranean restaurant. The options include meat or vegetarian options. Got this kids rice bowl. Just my size : . Comes with pita juice box! I feel like I was back in school. No worrying about is my meal is balanced. This is healthy! Glad there is outside seating too! "Traditional Falafel Pita was good and filling. The rice and pita that came with the Protein Plate was stale and on the dry side, while the beef was tough. Avoid the Cookie, it was cheap store bought, and stale. The image used on doordash was highly deceptive."
