"Comfortable mom&pop style restaurant. The staff greeted us and seated us quickly upon entering and also said goodbye to us before we left. Our first experience with African cuisine so we weren’t very familiar with the dishes but they kept coming to our table to chat with us, offer recommendations, and even show us the proper technique to eat African food. They were so welcoming, friendly and hospitable. The dishes were hot, fresh, and very flavourful. Thank you!"

"Her home vegetarian platter is all vegan and amazing! but a little expensive. the injera is sooo good. comes again definitiw. they also serve Ethiopian coffee, traditionally brewed. I ate there about 6 hours ago, couldn't finish the plate and I'm still full!"

"Simply the best restaurant I have in my life. all foods are cooked to perfection, nicely placed on the table, and the atmosphere is only divine. we arrived at 2 clock on Wednesday, and the server was absolutely amazing. she was friendly, sympathetic, fast and fast in service. this restaurant deserves a plus10 of ten if you are ever in calgary, you have to check this."

"A good and authentic place to eat in Kensington. They had Ethiopian music playing, with a smoky candle lit somewhere. The Yestig, beef pieces in a red pepper sauce had spice, but was flavourful rather than hot. The injera bread was not sour, but went well with the beef."
