"We came here after playing at a game cafe nearby. It was a great lunch for the price. They were out of the beef short rib meal so I had a pork on rice plate instead. It was good. The sauce coated all the meat....I used the fish sauce for spring rolls and on the rice. The spring rolls were small but nice. My friend had vegetarian spring rolls on rice which is equal to 4 and rice. It’s a bit cheaper than getting them separately. And was just a light snack since we wanted to save room for the big supper we had planned."

"We took the grandchildren "out" for dinner to Van Son! They have a children's menu served with a juice box. Portions are generous but not overwhelming for kids. The service was friendly and the food served promptly. They even brought a glass of ice cubes in case the children found the soup needed cooling!The adult meal was equally delicious but large portions! Reasonably priced! We Will be back!"

"Good discovery, the bowls were very good and very generous, especially for the price! The rolls on the other hand didn't have much taste which is a bit of a shame but the quantity was incredible, especially the shrimp were very big whereas usually there are two and they are small so it's really nice! The waitress was really nice, she took the time to explain to us because we had never eaten this before, she gave us good advice! I recommend this place"

"The food at this restaurant was good and I was pretty happy with the value here as well. My rice and pork chop dish was very flavourful when compared to most Vietnamese places in Calgary. The only negative aspect was the amount of seafood in the seafood noodle soup: I really wish there was less imitation crab and more shrimp/fish/squid. Other than the service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant. It's a nice little place to go for a fairly cheap meal."

"It used to be the go to place for Pho in the SW. But over the years and with explosion of Pho Restaurants, I don't go here as often. The food is decent, pricing is okay, so I can't really complain. Environment needs updating/renovating though."
