"My wife and I dined at Bovinos recently on our one year anniversary. This was the best restaurant we have ever dined at. An 8-course meal that starts out with an all you can eat salad bar that included salads and dressings of all types, scallops, lobster, and a variety of crabs??!!! We we had to pace ourselves for the amazing sea land and poultry meats from the “gauchos” brought to our table! We had to set our remote controls to red a few times to build up some hunger for the courses that followed! Bread bowls filled with lobster bisque, margarita with cocktail smoke, 6 of the largest most tender Oysters Rockefeller we’ve ever had, a vegetable assortment served on a table-side grill, table side stoned crab, octopus, sea scallops, steak and lobster… absolutely hands-down a phenomenal experience."

"El Pescador was our favorite old downtown restaurant for 15 years - until it closed some 3 years ago. Now the lights are back on, to everyone,s benefit. Not certain the same owners are back; but my wife's grilled shrimp (with the house Pescador sauce on the side) was superb. The same was true for my fish fillet with garlic sauce - both of which were accompanied by a wonderful leaf lettuce salad and unique garnished rice pilaf cup. Our initial concern was the empty restaurant (in contrast to the restaurant next door); but that was quickly offset by a the meal. We love the old downtown Cancun setting and restaurants. The fact that el Pescador is on a quaint side street just 100 yards from the concession stands and night life of Cancun's lively plaza park is an added plus. Welcome back, el Pescador."

"A must if visiting Cancun. High quality and reliable kitchen. The flavor and preparation of the dishes was as it should. It was perfect. Large quantity yet flavor. I had seen some reviews saying that the steaks weren't that good however, it was not our experience. I came with the family and we ordered ribeye curated for 40 days and seafood... Both were very tasty, well prepared, perfect temperature, and simply a great dining experience. The place is nicely decorated offering an elegant but welcoming environment.The staff is very attentive and even offered a sample of their Iberic ham. The menu is well rounded and offer multiple options for all the family. I recommend the tuétanos, steaks and octopus."
