"Took my son to Elevens for his Birthday as he is a lover of sport and Gareth Bale. The staff are really friendly, let us take our son upstairs to see all of the memorabilia. Food was well priced and service was excellent. Great time had by all of us. Looking forward to returning soon. Big thank you to the lovely blonde lady that served us : 18 7 23 6pm"

"This is a superb restaurant in every way. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great and all the staff were brilliant. They were so pleasant and helpful, particularly James, the restaurant manager. Whatever you asked of them was never any trouble. Again the same applies in the morning when we had breakfast."

"My partner and I came here on Saturday evening and were so impressed with everything. We had called a couple of days previously to book and order any smoked meats we wanted in advance. This is necessary as they are a small restaurant who avoid waste so ad hoc smoked meats may not be available if you do not pre order. When we arrived we were seated quickly and our drink order taken the special was a raspberry mojito which I had, and my partner went for a standard mojito. They were delicious and luckily we were sat very close to the bar so we could see them being made right in front of us. About 10 mins later our food order was taken we shared some chicken wings to start and then my partner ordered the ribs while I went for a burger with blue cheese and bacon. Food came out quickly and was very hot and fresh! The chicken wings were cooked to perfection, very juicy and with lovely crispy skin on the outside. The blue cheese dip was also a winner! The main meals were equally fantastic. My burger was lovely with two large patties and lovely fresh bread to complement the toppings. Chips were great and fresh, a really good portion size too I was struggling to finish! The real star though was the ribs. They were a large portion and barely contained any bones, with lovely soft meat all the way through. They were seasoned beautifully and also came with barbecue sauce for dipping. Truly delicious! All of the staff were lovely and attentive for the length of our visit, giving the restaurant a nice, relaxed feeling even though you could tell they were very busy. We will definitely be back soon!"

"Kimchi makes a low-key approach to market itself, they only let the food speak for themselves. after just over a month of the commercial this Korean restaurant on the cowbridge road east has a handful of star reviews on tripadvisor, has no phone number online (as well as there is no social media accounts and no website. to the happiness it does not seem to be a pity – on the Saturday night we visited, it was packed into the rafter. In addition, the owner who explained that he opened the restaurant to serve the needs of cardiffs Korean food crazy Chinese student population, was delighted by the recipe they receive from local and student alike. I understand why. two years ago cardiff has lyrically over yakiniku, the other Korean restaurant, waxed, it is much the same in this time. kimchis eating is a breath of fresh air a unique social experience with aromen and textures that are a refreshment"

"The service wasn't the best, forgot our starter but all is forgiven as the food was lovely, only criticism is the naan is way to thin, probably done to make them look bigger but unfortunately they broke like a crisp. All the food was very tasty. I'd give value 4 out of 5, Zen Bbq was my go to place but there platter has increased from £22 to £35 and its half the size of the one in the picture which was only £39."
