"I let myself be guided by the recommendations and sadly I had a terrible experience in this place, the terrible service of some people such as security and the DJ ruined my expectations and desire to return. I understand that a grown woman shouts you off the terrace to a certain extent, when she already abuses her “authority” to be hostile. And a DJ who, in addition to being uncharismatic (not to say unfriendly), is offended because you politely request a song, shows that you are in the wrong place."

"Great happy hour, enjoyed the oysters, cheese board, olives, old fashioned, and martini.Big negative is the very off playlist they chose to blast at a wine bar. Unless you’re a fan of hard rap where you hear the N word every other sentence in songs glorifying trapping and gang violence, you’re going to get a headache within 10 minutes. That alone will keep me from visiting again, which is unfortunate because everything else was a 10/10.Kid-friendliness: Definitely not, very aggressive playlist with gratuitous use of the N word"

"The food was excellent and unusual. The picante drink I had was the best I have had. I’ve been looking for the perfect picante drink and Calli has it. The chicken was terrific and the enmoladas had the right amount of spice for my taste. The garnacha, the guacamole and the ensalada César were all delicious. Our only complaint is the server. He was not familiar with the menu, he told us about the special after we had ordered and he was not knowledgeable about it. He sort of hung at the table waiting for us to order and his English is not up to par to work in a restaurant in Chicago."

"Are you looking for outdoor dining? I found a place for you. If you sit on the patio at one of the covered tables, you can turn on the heat lamps if it gets cool. However, seating is available on two levels for indoor dining. Try the charred chicken wings, double burger, or fish chips. Although we went for food, we enjoyed sitting outside sipping on Hibiscus Margaritas, Booly, and Oda Elix, and I bet you look good with a drum machine. Our tab was $127. Even though we had to wave over our server a few times, my overall experience was good. I will be back.Alulu is pet friendly. Parking can be challenging on a Saturday. Be prepared to walk a block or two."
