"Georgina (sp? was a wonderful hospitable host. We celebrated 2 birthdays and had a great time. It was so nice to go into a home for a traditional Brazilian meal no family drama. The eclectic decor and ambiance added to the whole experience. The outdoor area is cozy. The city view from the porch was beautiful. I saved this dinner for a special occasion and super happy with the experience. Obrigada!"

"Food was exceptional especially the Fuiti deMare. Clearly authentic and a great value as well. Would have given a fifth star for ambiance but the air conditioning in the rear was out and while they had a portable unit it didn’t quite keep up with the humidity/need. Do NOT take this wrong, this is a must visit restaurant and one I’ll return to when I’m in Chicago! Oh and they magically found a 2007 Borollo that wasn’t on the wine list."

"Went for brunch. Patio was a pretty chill place, but the music was not exactly brunch ambience. Way too loud.They make you pay for a reservation, but only tell you that it's been credited on the bill. No proof...Food was average/ok. Service was average/ok."

"Great happy hour, enjoyed the oysters, cheese board, olives, old fashioned, and martini.Big negative is the very off playlist they chose to blast at a wine bar. Unless you’re a fan of hard rap where you hear the N word every other sentence in songs glorifying trapping and gang violence, you’re going to get a headache within 10 minutes. That alone will keep me from visiting again, which is unfortunate because everything else was a 10/10.Kid-friendliness: Definitely not, very aggressive playlist with gratuitous use of the N word"

"The food was excellent and unusual. The picante drink I had was the best I have had. I’ve been looking for the perfect picante drink and Calli has it. The chicken was terrific and the enmoladas had the right amount of spice for my taste. The garnacha, the guacamole and the ensalada César were all delicious. Our only complaint is the server. He was not familiar with the menu, he told us about the special after we had ordered and he was not knowledgeable about it. He sort of hung at the table waiting for us to order and his English is not up to par to work in a restaurant in Chicago."

"At this level of planning expense, you expect a phenomenal experience. 2 Michelin star place, , well, if you dont know, you dont know: it was as advertised. Great? Possibly. Exceptional? Beyond question. From hostess, through staff, through service: #exceptional. The staffs efficiency key. Food selection. Precise. Texture, flavor, presentation: #exquisite. Wine pairing: dynamic if not trendy. Atmosphere: #perfect lit well, sturdy, clean, well lit as appropriate. Open kitchen is interesting with volume of order recitations/confirmation. If you enjoy fine dinning, exceptional foodie experiences spending $, enjoy! Start to finish, great work because you pay for it. Enjoy."
