"As a single traveller I was placed on a very small square table facing away from the waiting staff. So that I can be seen I changed the settings around so I could see the staff passing. I waited 15 minutes to be asked what...I would like and at the same time was given a small appetiser salad. I ordered a burger and a beer. The liquid arriving within five minutes with the burger hard on its heels. I have got to say the burger was the sloppiest mess I've ever had the misfortune to see on a plate. Having said that, there were hard bits all around the edge really where it had been reheated quickly! I finished what I could manage and left most of the plate. After a while the waiter asked if I was finished and removed the remains asking if I wanted anything else, which I did not. The bill arrived at lighting speed so I put my card into it straight away. So far I've been waiting for it to be debited for a least 20 minutes. After I finish this report, I will give up and go. If this was the last eatery in Le Mans, I would rather go hungry."

"A very good address for those who love meat! The welcome is warm, the staff is available and smiling, the restaurant is simply decorated and it is very clean. The map is short but it is ample enough. The meat is excellent and the very generous portions! Perfect cooking, homemade sauces and extremely tasteful (my favourite: blue), possibility to ask for sauce on meat or separately, and accompaniments are at will. I also point out that bread is delicious (country, fresh and crispy) which is becoming increasingly rare in today's restaurants. I can't tell you anything about desserts because after the dish, I was out. Prices are correct and can be paid by bank card. I strongly recommend this address for lunch (preferable to book as often complete)."

"Well situated right next to the IBIS and IBIS Budget hotel this good sized place with smiling staff provide good sized meals at a good price. I recommend the Gris Beef which is a beefburger that certainly did not disappoint."
