"Bert's is a great place to get lots of good food at a reasonable price. I personally love the enchilada dinner. More than you can eat but soooo much fun trying. "Loved the atmosphere and the music was great. The food was okay. We had the fried mushrooms and the fish. The mushrooms where a little over cooked but still pretty good. The fish was way over cooked and nearly unedible but it was close to the end of the night. We will try going back earlier in the night and try again."

"This place is an experience. We knew we were some place special from the moment we walked in. We were lucky to have Charles as our waiter. He was attentive, entertaining, and a true part of the history of Mungo's. Some of the best toasted ravioli we have ever had. The house salad is unique and very delicious. We would definitely recommend the lasagna, tortellini, or three-way pasta, all were exceptional. Everyone needed a box for leftovers and while we didn't think we had room for dessert, it was my wife's birthday and they provided complimentary cheesecake, which we all shared, and it was fantastic!. Tony, the owner of mungo's, even stopped by our table personally to check on our experience. This is a first class experience that you do not want to miss."

"Not a big Popeyes Chicken fan, but recently visited St. Louis, Missouri about a week ago and Popeyes was near our hotel in Collinsville, IL which is 15 miles from St. Louis . My boyfriend and I ordered a 5 piece chicken tender with fries, and once we began eating the food; The chicken was undercooked, very rubbery and felt like we were eating gum, and seemed as if the fries were not fresh and seemed to had been sitting out for hours having a stale taste. Fresh food should be #1 top priority and if and chicken is cooked or fries dropped it needs to be checked for quality before being served to customers.We had a stomach bug for 2 days of constant constipation. ?"

"Stuff was very friendly and helpful. I got the country fried steak and it was good. My sister has the grill pork chop and said it well. I should say the food was delicious. I'm going back. So if you want delicious food and a friendly and helpful staff, I recommend you go to Colten."
