"I’m reluctantly writing this review as I like to support local businesses, however this was my third time giving it a chance, and the third time I’ve received really terrible service. Each time I’ve been, it felt like I was an inconvenience to them, and that they couldn’t wait to get me out the door… Today, we visited at around 3.25pm when they close at 4pm, to be told there was no longer a seating option, they weren’t taking card and there were no gluten free as they had been cleared out. It was basically like they didn’t want or need my business. Even my children commented on how rude they were! The other times I’ve visited, there has never been a gluten free option (despite this being advertised), and I’ve always felt like they just want you out the door as fast as possible. It’s such a shame as it is a lovely place with lovely cakes, but they really do need to treat their customers better, and I won’t be returning again."

"My Mum and I enjoyed a very pleasant lunch here. My Greek Horta salad was very good value for the size and the addition of mint was unusual and refreshing. My Mum had the Moroccan Hummus Sandwich which came with a generous portion of salad and some very nice 'kale slaw '. The only slight negative point was that the bread was a little stale but overall, the ingredients were high quality. The tables are surrounded by cabinets of porcelain with information provided if you have an interest it really is like dining in a museum! A lovely place to meet in the centre of town. We went on a Wednesday out of school holidays so the clientele was mainly friends catching up and businessmen having client meetings. I can understand why it is a venue cherished by many and why it has won awards."

"Classic decor, good food and a fantastic cappuccino! I could pay with the card so that no care about forgetting cash and I could also take the dog with the sitting front. perfect!"

"I booked Kava for a private function and everyone had an amazing night. Carly did an excellent job in arranging everything and all the staff were really friendly and accommodating. The food was perfect, the cocktails were amazing and the entertainment was spot on. I would definitely recommend this venue to others and I will definitely be booking further events here!"

"There are many great things in the area . it is good for a bit of color coordination because the aisles are tight together and they can put elements together to see if they go. I didn't have to wait long to get through the cash register."
