"We found it by accident and it was worth it. Old style fish and chips, a quality oil was used that doesn't leave a terrible taste in your mouth and the fish wasn't lost in batter. The chips weren't frozen which is such a welcome...change. If I'm ever back this way I would definitely go again."

"Being from Sydney and having very good Indian restaurants near our home, we were skeptical of how Jashan Lounge at Halliday’s point would be as there is not much choice around here, the tavern although very popular, the food didn’t really appeal to us being standard pub style food. We were very impressed with all the food, well done Jashan Lounge, keep up the good work ."

"After eating here a few times now , since the new catering, must admit it can only get better ! We thought. Maybe the rush at Christmas holidays will surely tell. When there isn't much more to welcome hunger pangs, in the area, and knowing the friendly bus can pick you up and drop you home after a few bevvies, that's the best part, it can be a good night out. They try."
