"No cranberries (sultanas were a poor substitute), no carrot or beetroot that I could discern. No quinoa at all, and not even much rice. The kale (most of the salad) was chewy, and the broccolini was replaced with blanched broccoli. If I had known all...that, I would have ordered something else. Even the dressing was dubious pomegranate dressing? I suspect not. In contrast, my friend loved her dish and fresh juice, but I won't be back."

"It's a nice looking cafe and there's a deli in here too. However the service we got today was below par. We wanted a table but the waiter said there was none and asked if we would mind sitting at the counter. We said ok. Then later, subsequent guests who were initially also seated at the counter were given tables but not us. When we inquired, he said we didn't ask for one! We said we clearly wanted a table as it was difficult for 3 persons to carry a conversation sitting at the counter!The food was good and honestly better than the one down the road although I agree with some of the comments that it is a little over rated. I had the crispy egg and thought it was saved by the more savoury meat that came with it under the pile of fresh salad."

"The staff are well trained and ready to serve. There were quite a few bookings, yet they found me a table and brought cold water with a menu. They took a drink order right away and the food order was collected soon after. I had...a Croque Monsieur, which is really just a fancy toasted sandwich (and priced accordingly). The Croque and my coffee were both good and the whole ordering and payment process went very smoothly."

"Possibly the first decent coffee that I have had since being in Melbourne, coupled with a very good and interesting interpretation of a sausage roll (mushroom) and a Green Goodness Bowl that would undoubtedly be better if eaten in the cafe (I had mine take away due to the very large cafe being packed at lunch time on a saturday). Great to see a substantial array of very tempting vegan slices, cupcakes etc too. Faultless service even when under the pump and environmentally friendlier packaging are also definite positives. Definitely worthwhile checking out in an area that is lacking for options. Updated from previous review on 2018-06-23"

"The pieces have shrunk and the prices have risen since the last time. the food quality was not so great. the chicken was quite dry, the steak was ok, though slightly overboiled and the pasta was quite dry and bland."

"It was my first time here yesterday. Great ambiance, lovely staff and good service. The coffee was excellent. The food delicious and beautifully presented! Reasonably priced for what you get. I love chai, and they had the best chai I have had outside of India. And it was also beautifully presented. I think this is my new favourite. I will definitely be back!"
