"A visit to the Dresdner Comödie was once again, and I was looking for a special place near the Comödie for the first time via GG. With the help of the “old” GG-User, I finally managed to find the Lebanese restaurant “Sindbad” in the Hübnerstraße. My pie was once again to get to know a somewhat foreign culture and their dishes. The Lebanese restaurant Sindbad is located near the “Nürnberger Ei ́s” in Dresden on a small side street. The famous Dresdner scene place “Campus” is also located in the immediate night bar. There are no parking spaces right in front of the restaurant, but you can reach some parking spaces on the street with some luck. We were received by the boss, a set, Lebanese gentleman in the middle of 50. Since I had already reserved a table in advance, we were immediately led to our place. The menu was quick to hand, the orders received after a sufficient period of time, the food served quickly and the well-being was also demanded repeatedly. In my eyes a very good service, strives for the guests. We went to the Lebanese food without any idea, we didn't know what to expect. The menu includes two soups, 19 appetizers, 9 vegans and vegetarian dishes as well as 30(! Main dishes. The selection was therefore difficult for us. Our food and drinks had a value of €73.80. Tomatoes But I don't think I'm just mocking my scales, but also my wife. In any case, the small, hearty dough bags were filled with fried beef chop or with fresh leaf spinach. Then pleasantly warm to eat immediately. A dream. The main dishes were plentiful and we had good to do to empty the plates. As we approached the Lebanese food completely unbiased, we didn't know what to expect. The spits were plentiful with delicate, fried meat, tomatoes and onions, but in taste nothing special or stunning. If that was so Lebanese, I can't say. The bread around the spears was typically dry and only edible together with the chickpea. The chicken meat (Pos.3) grilled on the spine were large pieces of meat, very crispy roasted and, as with Greeks, with a plate of Gyros after half, simply too much of the good. The Pommes chips were nothing but sliced and fried potatoes. Is that Lebanese? I don't know. The salad plate so lala, even since nothing can be seen in Lebanese, could have been in any German restaurant, only the dressing was different. There was a little unknown high on the salad plate. So a piece of reddish was something that was sour taste, but was not definable. On request from the boss, we were told that this was sour-laid beet with red beet juice. Was at least edible, but in need of reconciliation. From spices rather lash, not projecting or any herbs toss out. For my wife, this seasoning was ideal, I like it rather sharp and hearty. The food tasted, like a second time, but if it's Lebanese, I don't know. The ambience The restaurant is relatively bourgeois and has a beautiful, shaded beer garden in the summer. There are two, four and eighth tables in the restaurant. At all you sit on comfortably padded chairs and benches. The tables are sufficiently large. The interior is rustic, on the walls hang some oriental pictures. The conservatory is a smoker room. Cleanliness The place is clean, even the toilets are ok. On the way there you pass a shelf with the checkout and the order book, where it only comes from cettles and catalogues. It doesn't have to be. In the whole we will surely make a trip to the Sindbad again. The service friendly, the food okay."

"We followed the reviews and did not regret it! From food to service to atmosphere, everything was spot on. Loved the traditional interior and equally enjoyed the background music that added more to the entire ambience. I was expecting the food to be a bit pricey but it was on the economical side, which was another plus! I'll definitely go there again whenever I visit Dresden."
