"Really good food and very nice ambiente make this place a must try in MG. The style is basically turkish with other southern european influences and a broad selection of different meat dishes, fish, pasta and vegetarian plus a huge weekly menu. I tried fried feta, which was delicious, and chicken breast (complete with a sidedish of rice and vegetables) with spinach sauce, also very good (not outstanding though). The service was excellent. The prices are slightly higher than the average in Mönchengladbach: one main course with a drink can go up to 25-30 Eur. What really ímpressed me is the place itself, which is decorated paying a lot of attention to details, making it elegant. The location is not precisely in the city center, but still it's not hard to find. Do not forget to reserve a table, it gets quickly full."

"Yes, the atmosphere is nice. Museum restaurants are usually pretty good. Zeitlos is an exception. We recently had the Mediterranean Chicken Sandwich and the Focaccia Lachs. The chicken was dry and overcooked. The focaccia looked nothing like any focaccia I have ever seen. Its taste was very disappointing also. We complained to the waitress. She went into the back and returned moments later saying that the manager said this was the way both dishes were supposed to be. When we tried to send both dishes back, we were told that we would have to pay for both AND the replacement dishes. "Says who?" "The Manager!" When we asked to speak to him, he was suddenly 'gone'. The clumsiness of these responses speaks badly of the training and customer handling skills of the staff AND management"

"General: The Sächsische Dampfschifffahrt, also known as the White Fleet, has 13 different ships from the modern salon ship to over a hundred-year-old wheel steamer. All ships have an appropriate gastronomy on board. We used one of the many offers and had chosen a dixieland evening on the Cosel with friends. These excursions go from the Dresden terrace to the Pillnitz Castle and last about three hours. Ambience: Here the Cosel, a modern salon ship with free deck deck and large salon rooms distributed on two decks with floor covering windows. They sit comfortably in soft upholstery and can enjoy the unique view. Operation: For the three-hour drive, however, there is sufficient onboard personnel, so that we finally have two glass of beer. And the ladies sat on dry as their order was forgotten smoothly. Even the supply of food lasted long, only after the demand for more than one hour was delivered quite flott. Food: It is certainly not possible to expect miracles from the gastronomy on board and also no gourmet restaurant. But our impression was rather large kitchens and canteens. Prices are expected to be higher than in the country. We gentlemen chose the obligatory Radeberger Pils a ́3,90 €, my wife Aperol Sprizz for 6,50 €, our female accompaniment an anger of “Bordrotwein” for 5,90 €. As an appetizer we wished a Soljanka a ́4,50 €. To the main dish chose my best tagliatelle with poultry strips for 13.50 €, I chose the Saltimbocca from chicken on the tomatized vegetable bed with Sesampasta for 13.90 €, our male accompaniment wished the carving with champion and potato slices for 12.90 €, his wife chose the Saxon Sauer roasts with dumplings and red cabbage for 14.50 €. As already mentioned, we had to wait an unusually long time for our dishes. Completely incomprehensible, because the alleged Soljanka at the end were only sausage pieces in any brown, undefined sauce. The Gaaan was far from a Soljanka. Soljanka The Tagliatelles with poultry stripes of my wife were plentiful, with large chicken pieces, fresh rocket and parmesan. From the sufficient part and the Tagliatelle tasty, only the chicken was unfortunately already cold and dry. Tagliatelle with poultry strips My chicken saltimbocca on the tomatized vegetable bed with sesampasta were also tagliatelle with sesame, Mediterranean, fried vegetables and a small piece of chicken breast. Leaks looked too small for a man. The Tagliatelle were soft with me, the chicken delicious, the vegetables unfortunately only lukewarm. Saltimbocca from chicken on the tomatized plant bed The Schnitzel with Champion and potato piece was the epitome of a large kitchen. The scavengers frozen food, the champions certainly fresh, but the associated sauce originated somewhere near Maggi. The potato slices are boiled in a paste. That wasn't really great. The Sächsische Sauerbraten with knödeln and Rotkraut was not much different. Two thin slices of meat, two slices of dumplings and many pappy red herb from the glass. Also the sauce is not the gum. A real Saxon Sauerbread was not. {Photo_165613 Cleanliness: The ship clean and well maintained. Unfortunately too little toilets on board, so it looked like half the time... Result: Gastronomy is certainly not the boar, our staff emphasizes, but the magnificent view compensates a lot. Certainly a lot of tourists. The rides are recommended in any case, but a small board snack should be enough, for that it is better to go to the docks in a restaurant."
