"As a Chicago transplant, I savored having a Gino's East in my adopted hometown of Dubuque. We struggled to get takeout at Gino's since they opened months ago (completely understandable due to staffing shortages everywhere), and finally got to order takeout smoothly over the phone. The mozzarella and spinach sticks were the best we've ever had, however, both our thin-crust pizza and deep-dish pizzas were completely overdone...very, very dark. I truly wanted to adore this food.I had to wait an extra 10 minutes past the designated time to get my order--not a problem as I understand how kitchens/restaurants work. However, had they taken the pizzas out of the oven before overcooking them I could having given therave review I wanted to. In my time waiting for my takeout order, the staff was supremely attentive and the ambiance and location of the restaurant is spot on. If the cooking times improve, this could be a much higher review. Truly hopingfor better times to come for Gino's East."
