"We visited here on a Saturday night and there was a nice wee vibe so was expecting time it to be good. We got prawn puri to start but it was really just a couple of prawns with peppers and a rolled up roti. It was fine, not bad, not great. The mains all came out very quickly and all 3 where supposed to be different levels of spicy bit they all tasted very similar. The service was friendly enough and although we ate everything it was just all very 'nice ' without really being what we wanted."

"We visited Shiraz as part of our match day experience against Manchester City on the 27th of December 2017, and to be honest, we will NOT be returning. At first we attended sister restaurant Taj Palace, only to be told that they were shut, thus we were directed by a member of staff to attend Shiraz, where we were shown our seats and sat down quickly. We found the menu to be detailed yet lacking in value for money, especially in comparison to other nearby Indian cuisines. We purchased some beverages which arrived shortly afterwards, however once we ordered our meals, we found ourselves waiting for quite a long period of time. Personally, I purchased a mixed kebab starter alongside a chicken tikka mossala whilst one of my other friends ordered a madras and the other ordering a mossala too. When my starter and Popadom arrived, I was impressed, beautiful sauces complimented both Popadom and the starter delightfully. It was outstanding, but what followed my starter, was poor. My mossala dish was very small, and this was the same case for my friend's curries too. Bland tastes and very little portions of chicken all left us wanting more to eat. My nan bread was very poor in that I could barely taste any Keema, on the other hand my friend's Peshwari Nan was apparently very tasty indeed. During the meal, my friend ventured to the toilet where once he returned what he told us was quite frankly shocking, very dirty toilets with skid marks all over the toilet bowl. Overall, we left Shiraz paying a high price, still hungry and short on time to head to St James' Park due to a long wait for the curries."

"Informed the restaurant online that I was gluten free. On arrival I was presented with allergen folder. The menu also stated what was gluten free. There was a wide variety of curry’s available I was spoiled for choice. Staff were knowledgeable too food was wonderful too. No gf desserts though but I was too stuffed to eat one anyway"

"Fantastic Last time we were there, a stag party from London had just finished their meal thank God. they called the Chef out and gave him a standing ovation they said it was the best indian meal they had ever had!!"
