"Lucky Escape!!! Avoid at all costs. Came here for a late brunch, placed the order. Manager seemed quite welcoming but also not fussed at the same time. Was a bit awkward as she kept telling us what juices and smoothies they had! I hadn’t asked,...the plan was to have hot drinks. However we then decided to go for a fresh orange juice, whilst we waited for our food. The juice came within seconds of ordering, it must’ve been already squeezed considering the whole place was dead quiet! When I went to take a sip I noticed a few black and brown bits floating in the glass around the ice cubes. I left it for a few minutes, as I was really surprised for this level of service from Fego! Eventually I told one of the waitresses who was cleaning the side and showed her the black bits floating in the glass. She looked and offered to change it, so I said okay. Although personally I would’ve been happy if she had just handed me a spoon to remove it. I heard her tell her colleague word for word, where they then started whispering. After seconds they came back to me in quite a confrontational manner saying where’s the bits? So I said I just showed you, when I looked at the glass the ice cubes had been removed. So I said the bits were floating around the ice cubes, but the ice cubes are removed so maybe they’ve also come out. They then said oh we didn’t do anything, we didn’t remove anything. So I said where did the ice cubes go? And with a malicious smile they said “must’ve just melted” so I said in seconds? ice cubes melted? Yes it’s warm today but it’s not hot enough for ice cubes to melt. I was disgusted at their service, lying to me on my face. The food hadn’t come yet, so I said you can’t be telling me the ice cubes just disappeared. To which they said yes they must’ve. What disgusting service?!!!! At this point I had enough and got up to leave, to which the manager said “do you think we put something in it?” My main issue was, the absolute lies to my face!! I am not stupid, will not accept to be treated like a fool! Glad I got out in time and didn’t ruin my Sunday. Staff were absolutely queer in their behaviour. Disgusting people skills! Manager needn’t reply, can see from your replies to other customers you don’t appreciate feedback. Repulsive service."

"Popped in for a bit to eat. Service quick and friendly and food was very tasty. Would recommend the ham pea risotto, the mackerel salad and he spring cup cocktail. Great music too <3"

Although I lived in New Zealand, I was back several times when I visited the united kingdom. the British pub and everything she has to offer for young and old."
