"The Alexandros is a lovely place located just off busy Mönckebergstraße in Hamburg's city center and perfect for a little break during your shopping, sightseeing or working day! The restaurant offers one business lunch per day you could check the menu online or by phone....We've been there for an Afternoon Tea. The place is so lovely and comfy you would like to stay all day it feels like stepping into a living room of a long gone period. The little restaurant has only one room with a handful of tables. It is decorated with a lot of love for detail by its owner, Alexandros. He alone is worth the visit: Born to be a host, always lovely and welcoming, you feel comfortable immediately. You could tell he loves historic tea sets china, silver, you name it, it's there since the food is served on this beautiful tableware. We had Afternoon Tea with Port sandwiches, scones, cookies, tea and of course a glass of port the bottle was left on our table for refill!. When waiting for our order to be prepared, we spent the time looking around. The restaurant used to be a book shop and some furniture and lovely stuff was kept by the owner. So you could read books or check out historic toys etc. There's also a shelf with stuff to buy: Greek Olive Oil, tea, sweets etc. Since Alexandros seems to know all his guests, at some point we were talking all together and had a lovely time. Prices are not cheap but reasonable, food is prepared freshly, the atmosphere is just lovely. We will definitely return very soon"

"We were there in the evening and were warmly welcomed and served. I had the goat cheese salad which was outstanding. The ambience is not a "classic" restaurant, which we didn't know and were therefore a little disappointed. The skewers are tasty, but also on the small side. I can recommend it for in between"

"We have been in mykonos with a group of 12 people on the occasion of a birthday party for dinner. for our company was a table reserved in the back area, but also otherwise the restaurant was very well visited. the device is typical smell: rustic, a bit kitsch, a little folklore etc. close to you, you will find a parking space in the surrounding residential areas streets. the menu offers the to be expected good selection of the usual dishes without surprises. we ordered various main dishes served all after a reasonable waiting period. my gyros has tasted very well, the meat was of good quality and the portion for me not to create. the lady in the service was very friendly, it worked well. I liked it well here, it's a little nice neighboring Greek."

"I know this place from 12 years ago when Vangelis still ran it.In the meantime it changed the ownership about 9 years ago.The interior hasn't really changed which gave me the good feeling of returning to a very beloved place.The kitchen got better though. The food is great and they even spend som efforts in the presentation.Bottom line: I loved my stay.I recommend this place.Hint: You might want to call and make a reservation else all tables might be seated (even during the week)"

"I met with a friend who invited me to dinner and I chose this Greek restaurant in my opposite direction, because I was never there and we have something odor here in the opposite. the restaurant has a kind of winter garden where they can sit outside and even with heated outdoors. service was fast flash and friendly. very good selection of dressed and eating was super delicious. .as they can also see on the pictures. especially the broth was super crispy. is already worth a visit."
