"Loire à vélo from Nantes towards Sancerre. before Sancerre. of July French national day. Friendly welcome and helpful. Sunny terrass with a pond with reeds and by a stud farm. Play list of energizing music. Menu and à la carte listing just enough fresh food. Recommanded feel good stop for mind and body."

"Not the most welcoming place, I asked in French if they spoke English, was told yes but then they refused to!. This went down well with one of the locals. If you don't want English speaking guests giving you trade let us know I will...go somewhere else."

"We went there as a table of 7 (booked earlier in the day and had a good meal! Both the raclette and the fondue were tasty and there was enough charcuterie to accompany the raclette (actually we struggled to finish it and a good selection of it. The waiters were efficient and friendly despite us being in the room upstairs. It was a bit cramped to access the staircase, but there was enough room at the table. The potence flambée of meat was very impressive too! The café gourmand was huge... worth sharing, or coming just for it ; Would go back, just for that!"

"We went to this hotel by chance but a great place recently taken over by new dynamic owners and a magnificent decoration. The restaurant is of quality and denotes the typical mountain restaurant. However, be careful if you are very sensitive to noise."

"So yes, it's a small hotel with services different from the big chains and uncertain insulation. But we have just had a very pleasant 2-night stay there, with super friendly people, good bedding which allowed us to recover from hikes, a very complete breakfast. All in a warm and cozy atmosphere, and with our dog. Note: the choice of taps at the bar, the pizzas from Tikki right next door. We are thinking about coming back this winter! Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great value"

"One of our favorite spots of Les Saisies. Several generations of our family visited Les Saisies and Le Benetton. Special place for us. The view is stunning from le Benetton to the Mont Blanc with clear weather."

"We had lunch here on market day (Wednesday) when the restaurant was packed with shoppers and stall-holders (so we were glad we'd rung ahead.) For 15 Euros each we had: delicious cheese tart (Beaufort, of course) or terrine and either diots (local sausages) or trout, with either pommes dauphinoises or pasta gratin. It was a good thing that we went for the 'starter main' choice and didn't order a dessert, because there is no way we could have made room for one. In fact, we couldn't finish all the pasta, good as it was. (This was probably the first time in our lives we have ever been too full to finish a meal.) The coffee wasn't very good, but we felt we'd had good value."
