"Visited here after a friend had recommended it to my partner and I and were not disappointed. They have a great selection of beer and the three that we tried were all delicious. There is seating out at the front and plenty of space inside. The staff were both extremely friendly and helpful. Their bathroom facilities are nice and are enclosed gender neutral bathrooms which we both valued. They are quite narrow meaning some people may find them difficult to access but for most people it wouldn't be an issue. Would definitely come here again."

"I did not choose this cafe myself but was happy to find that they had soya milk for coffees and offered vegan panini, soup and mezze. This is the sort of place that probably didn’t even have soya milk a year or two ago, so I feel it’s good to encourage them by choosing their vegan options."

"Lovely pub setting in Cragg Vale. Great food options as well. Ordered the steak and ale pie but it was quite rich in flavour. Heavy on the ale, overpowering the rest of the dish. Served with chips and mushy peas, the chips were quite bland. I would also be a bit pedantic and say it’s a pot pie opposed to a pie as it was served in a dish with a pasty lid. I wouldn’t let this one visit put me off ever returning. It’s one occasion, would happily go back to try something else. The service itself was great. Very friendly and quick."

"Absolutely fabulous, went on my birthday christmas Tuesday after pancakes, which they did not on the menu. They offered friendly to make us something and a beautiful sharing plate for a very cheap price, really made my birthday special"
