"We arrived without a booking and were very very lucky to get a table as we watched as other potential guests were turned away while we were there. A booking would be advised. We ordered a couple of pizzas, a Mediterranean salad and a couple of pasta dishes. The pizzas were some of the most delicious pizzas we have had, the ingredients were done perfectly and the bases were fluffy a nice thickness. The pastas were cooked perfectly and were very fresh with the flavours developed with excellent ingredient combinations. The salad was very fresh and was large enough for everyone at the table to enjoy. The staff were very friendly and accommodating for the small alterations made to the orders. Everything arrived in good time during an obviously busy evening. Will visit again. Highly recommended."

"Coming from an Italian family and spending a lot of time in Italy, I have to say this is the best Italian food I've tasted here! In terms of price and quality of food, it outnumbers every Italian joint in Hobart. The gnocchi was so fluffy and light and just melted in the mouth. Mum's risotto was to die for, it was cooked perfectly, and Dad's bolognese was great too. The only thing lacking on the night we went was the atmosphere. We were the only table there, but it was close to closing time on a Saturday night. Plus it was like we had our own private restaurant! The waiter, Ferdinando I think his name was, was a good waiter and came over for a chat and told us about his home town. I will definitely be back time and again. This place should be number one of Hobart's Italian restaurants!"

"Small shop with a cosy, neighbourhood deli feel that is crammed with local and imported foods. Refrigerated glass fronted cabinets displayed a delicious looking array of sandwiches, quiches, pies and also casseroles for take home and heat meals."
