"Happy New Year! A festive first time here for us as we usher in the Year of the Rat. It was super busy but our server did a fantastic job. We shared a wonton soup for 2 but it could have served 3. I had Kung Pao beef and wifey had General Tso chicken. I expected my beef to be spicy but it was very tame so I added a few packets of Chinese mustard to perk up my palate. Both were very generous portions. The price was also a value for what we got. We will return."

"They were open on Christmas, crazy busy and everyone was working fast and hard . The food I received was perfect even though there was a line out the door the attitude and service was absolutely perfect. 100% great."

"Have never had a bad meal at Mandarin House. I have been eating here for years. I knew Tony and like other reviewers I have watched as the decor got a bit run down and the place seemed more empty. This past year I have seen renovations inside which is good and most importantly, Jeff and I have never had a bad meal at this restaurant. I have eaten at many other Chinese places and this one continues to be my favorite. About the only complaint I have is occasionally when we have ordered a battered pork or battered chicken dish there has not been enough meat and too much gristle. However, we eat here many times throughout the year and overall it is excellent. There is no better won ton soup anywhere and when I have a cold or flu Jeff always brings it home and it does the trick to make me feel better."

"Exceptional experience. Came here with the team for a business meeting. All orders came out quickly and correctly. Place is clean with relaxed lunch atmosphere. Prices are reasonable. Nyoman is the best waiter I've ever had. Never had to ask for a refill or to have empty plates taken. He was on top of everything from the moment we sat down. Look forward to coming back again soon."

"I love formosa, I'm going to eat with my family since I was a child, I'm grown up now. they have been closed since last year, please bring us back to the family dinner restaurant! they are very clean, friendly and eating is always fresh and tasty. really the best Chinese in the city!"

"The reviews seem a little off. I go here probably twice a week and have absolutely no complaints! The staff seats you quickly, always keeps your drink filled and the food is hot and fresh. I always eat lunch here so I can't speak to the dinner menu, but the lunch buffet is outstanding. The crab rangoons are great and I have yet to try anything from the buffet that wasn't good. Must try!"
