"First time visiting this lovely old fashioned tea room. Wanted to go somewhere different for my daughters 11th birthday other than Costa!. Well I have to say the coffee and homemade cakes were far better than Costa's. Very reasonably priced, served on beautiful chinaware plus...my daughter was very happy to have her drink in a unicorn' teapot. What a lovely atmosphere with great service too. I will definitely be supporting these local businesses more often in future other than the chain ones'. Thanks again for a superb afternoon!."

"A omni family member for afternoon tea and it was nicely expensive, but it is worth having the groupon credit card. they were not the best vegan cake ever, but they were nice and they had made a effort! the scenes were particularly good"

"Unlimited Prosecco afternoon tea? Yes please! Booked a table for three ladies for a birthday celebration. We struggled to actually empty our glasses as the staff were so attentive and topping up. It really was unlimited prosecco. Delicious sandwiches, scones with lashings of cream and jam plus assorted cakes we couldn't finish. They were even kind enough to order a taxi for us when it was time to leave. Rather wonderful way to spend the afternoon with friends!"

"Called in to the terrace sandwich bar for a sandwich one lunchtime, what a great little place. Fabulous sandwich fillings. Baguettes, wraps, panini, cut bread. Hot food as well as daily specials. Cakes were lovely and a great selection of crisps. Very good value for...money. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Good place to call in for a sandwich to take to work or sit in the park opposite. They even do packed lunch deals."

"Had a Lovely afternoon tea here, sandwiches were scrummy, they even did a special.one for our son who's 11. The cakes and scones didn't disappoint. Lovely building, helpful staff. The Grand cafe interior was quirky and a nice atmosphere."
