"I have booked a jubilee meal for my partner and i. we were placed on a tiny table in the middle of a walk on our own opposite each in the restaurant. I politely asked the waitress if we could sit on another table, so we were not so exposed and the waitress was extremely rude and said that we could not move, although the restaurant had only 3 tables that were occupied. unfortunately can not comment on eating as the restaurant is extremely annoyed without eating."

"We didn’t actually eat here. Let me tell you why. This restaurant was recommended to us by people in Southampton and is in quite an impressive building, so we were looking forward to going. When we arrived on a Friday evening at 7.45, having pre-booked, the downstairs part was closed. We were ushered up a narrow staircase to an upstairs restaurant, which wasn’t very inspiring. The waitress gave us a photocopied one page menu sheet and told us it was their Winter menu. It didn’t have many dishes on it, but the waitress said if we wanted something specific, they would try to produce it for us. We asked for a wine list, but when we chose a bottle from it, we were told that the only red wine they had was Rioja, one of the dearest on the list. Also most of the wines on the list professed to be “Harrods” wine. We were sitting by the window, which had lights around it and they suddenly started changing colour! It was like being in a fairground! We got up and left and a waiter asked where we were going, but wasn’t really that interested. All in all, it was very disappointing."
