"I had watched the new commercials on television regarding the changes at the Home Town Buffet. I never cared for the place so didn't give it much thought. Then a friend highly recommended trying it again because it had really changed. So, my lady and I went on Father's Day to try it out. We were pleasantly surprised. It was very clean, the help was very polite, the manager was very nice, everyone was courteous and helpful. The food was displayed nicely and tasted very good. They cooked the steak the way you wanted it, fruit was in individual dishes and everything had a great flavor. We have since been back 3 times and every time the same thing. I have told all my friends about how good the food is, how nice we were treated and everything has been improved since I was here a year ago. I will return. I am very happy with the service, the food and the Home Town Buffet."

"This place has the best sandwiches in IB. I dare someone find a better BLT. Three Club is so freaking delicious and the All American is NUTS! It's huge you can hardly get your mouth around it. The pizza is delicious and I love that he offers both regular and Chicago style (both great). If you can get ahold of a cookie before I've bought them all try and do so cause they are Amazing. The owner is so funny and nice. I go here at least once a week and I'll continue to."

"We came during lunch (11am-3pm, weekdays). The food was super good, fast too! The server was mediocre, he didn't really check on us for refills my husband had to hunt someone down to get a box. You pay at the counter before leaving. I'd recommend it for a quick lunch place, the dinner prices are kind of high but you get a lot of food. We'll definitely be back again, either way!! PS, don't be disturbed by the outside appearance- it's much better inside!"

"Tell me why I had my uncle from Riverside recommend me to try out this restaurant in Chula Vista? Because it is real authentic Mexican barbacoa. I never would have known this place existed if not for my uncle who is in search of authentic Mexican food. My family and I decided to order to go to bring it back to our family for a taste test. However, the ladies in the front were very patient and knowledgeable in recommendations for what to order. I must add they are exceptionally a nice modern looking restaurant with great service. As for the food: we ordered the half pound of lamb tacos and chiccaron tacos. They were so delicious and amazingly priced! It was so worth the trip and price. If you like spicy, you must try the habanero pickled onions. They are so spicy, yet addicting. I can't wait to come back and try this place with friends and try out the interesting menu I've never seen before. Such as : Grasshoppers, rabbit and brains! Definitely worth a visit if you're tired of the same old carne asada! Open up your taste buds guys."

"It's been awhile since I've been in San Diego and had to make a visit to the good ol' coffee apothecary. Best tasting coffee, fresh roasts, cold brew, pastries and good vibes...what more can you ask for from your local coffee brewhouse?Love stopping in and watching the growth. "I love coming here , especially because it’s walking distance from my home . I love the beer and the Kombucha. They have $5 deals on Tuesdays. It’s a really great atmosphere if you want to bring your children too. They have kids meals and coloring with paper for them too. Food is bomb. The only thing I give it 4 stars is the girls in the front have no positivity. They are always very serious , no smile whatsoever , as if they’re mad being there. Defiantly better service at the cashier ."
