"Dragon star is excellent inexpensive Chinese food. They have been my go-to for years. They deliver extremely fast (they will tell you 45 mins and show up in 25). Dining in is not recommended, they have the ambiance of a laundromat. Plus, they closed down due to ensure safety during the early days of the pandemic, and now that they have reopened they always wear masks! Easily the best Chinese food outside of Chinatown!"

"I am not really the Reviewer Type as I conduct a review occasionally. However I have been residing by this restaurant and I really really love Mandarin Style food so I tend to try many locations in MA and out of state and even of of the country as Itravel. What i am getting to is this place is Special. It really is one of the best food Chinese restaurants around. They prepand cook in front on an open kitchen concept . They also cook a bit more refined and I this is truly the only place I eatboneless spareribs because they use the lean cut meat unlike 99.9 percent of other restaurants. They also have really greattasting chicken fingers and fairly decent rice especially the vegetables fried rice. I have many Pros for this place includingthe kind family that owns it for decades. The only Con I have is that they do not offer Delivery although I have pressed theconcept to them and benefits of delivery even through a third party. Now I am off to grab me a plate. Cheers."

"Great, go to hole in the wall kind of Chinese food place. A pleasure to do business with as they will right their wrongs without hesitation. After waiting 2 hours for a delivery, the food arrived cold. I called to express my disappointment in the fact that the food was cold after such a long wait. I can appreciate places are short staffed and busy, but cold food after a 2 hour wait was unacceptable. The manager not only re cooked my order, but delivered it himself and 8t was delicious!! Thank you!!"

"Not gonna lie if lived in Boston I would save this food for tomorrow. It’s a lot of food for one person. It’s a great value and a good bang for your buck BUT also very good. I can’t give it 5 stars exactly but since there’s no 4.5 I need to give it 5 because while very good I’ve had better cheap Chinese. It’s still a place I’d go to again if I’m in the area. I needed a place opened late and this was the only place I could find in the neighborhood. It was a god send and now hopefully I won’t wake up hungover tomorrow. Overall it’s very good, the owner/worker? Is nice and I really enjoyed the food and you get your hang for your buck. If you don’t expect fancy Chinese this place will meet and exceed your expectations for cheap Chinese."

"We got the crispy chicken strips Taiwan style, the black pepper beef, and (of course) two orders of soup dumplings. We’ve been exploring different soup dumplings in Boston and so far, these are our favorite! The soup is very savory and delicious and all the dumplings are consistent. The black pepper beef was also delicious and you can definitely taste the black pepper compared to other chinese places. The crispy chicken strips were also really good and tender. Would definitely come again and maybe make this our regular spot!"
