"This is obviously a family-run restaurant. Friendly. Good galettes and crepes. They seemed to be just starting up BUT the food was good nevertheless. Staff was friendly but spoke French only. Seating on the main square of Carnac overlooking the church and everything else in town."

"Normally very good food and fish, very top of the tree......but the comments about some of the service are correct. it must be very hard to week after week produce top , top quality food, but greeting customers, saying goodbye all has a part to play, very much quality and value, but pretending not to speak english when we call every 3 months for over 15 years,,,, well its like Paris"

"First a disclaimer: we had trouble slowing down to French mealtimes the whole of our two week stay. But chez Marie seemed slower still. The galettes, crepes and cidre were all good. Service was ok."
