"Cheeky’s doesn’t exclusively serve New Orleans fare but their small menu is packed with some favorites like poboys (shrimp, oyster or ½ ½ , a veggie muffalata and of course, the ever popular beignet (or Ben-Yay! as they call it . <br/>The shop is small with seating for perhaps 10-12, but the service is as friendly as it gets so belly up to the little bar and have strike up a conversation. When we stopped in we chatted about the seasonal Abita beer they had on draft (which was amazing I might add among other things. I still can’t get over how welcoming everyone was. It was like being at a friend’s house for lunch."

"This place is amazing! It was near our hotel and we found it serendipitously but we went back for 3 meals over 1 weekend. Their breakfast choices include hot egg dishes, amazing pastries and great coffee (we liked it all! and for lunch/dinner they have a make your own salad option as well as many pizza flavors. The pizza is particularly outstanding with a perfect thin NY crust. We also tried their chocolate mousse and Napoleon for dessert and were impressed. My mom and daughter and I were convinced we couldn't get anything but an amazing meal here and we plan on visiting every time we go back to NYC. It's a must try!"

"How is it possible that this amazing, unbelievable sandwich shop doesn't have any reviews yet? If you haven't been, drop what you're doing and go. Preferably on the weekend since the only folks who go here regularly are folks who work nearby no tourists. Almost certainly the best sandwiches I've ever tasted we had a selection of four of their top sellers. Can't pick a favorite. The fillings are wild and creative but not whimsical or silly. And that bread. Hearth baked, with a perfect balance between chewy and crispy. Food is all locally sourced from New York farms and prices are quite reasonable."
