"We decided to try this restaurant on the basis of reviews and photos and we were not disappointed. we had to start the mushroom shell and the muddles, followed by the lamb shell and veg gnocchi for the net. the gnocchi is quite filling, so note them if they do not have the greatest appetit. somehow we have managed a pudding; Chocolate terrarine that was heavenly and a sticky toffee pudding. The latter is something I would not normally choose, but after I tried to serve a few of my partners, I can simply visit it at our next one. if they are a custard fan, then simply note that it is not offered with the puddings. it is only cream or ice cream. they also have a good quality wine list to choose from. we were asked about allergens, and the staff team could not have been more friendly and helpful. it is not a particularly large restaurant, but a beautiful atmosphere. we arrived there, after 9 o'clock on Friday, without booking and had luck getting a table. they serve up to 10 o'clock so useful if they want to eat something later. we loved it so much that we have booked to go back in the following night and try some more of the menu. prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality of food."

"So enjoyed the cheese pie, and asked if I could add a 10% tip. The server said I could, but when I went to pay on my card, I noticed that the bill had already included the 10% tip. She had already included another 10% tip , making 20% in total. I tried to get this reversed but was told this was already being processed. I just feel that I have been cheated. Sorry if this sounds dramatic, but I hate getting ripped off !!!!"

"Saturday 11february we had a reservation at 7pm for my partner’s birthday. Upon arrival we noticed that a lot of the menu was already out of stock. When we booked in we were told to ‘go and wait in the bar if there is room if not come back’ After we were eventually seated, we ordered drinks which then took 40mins to be served, we enquired twice but were told they are on their way. We then ordered our food which was sadly very disappointing. The Mac cheese was cold and congealed, 5 florets of broccoli in one dish! I then had to ask for cutlery which was thrown onto the table in front of me. The table was cleared whilst people were still eating and the manager then sent over a young member of staff to say our allocated time was up. An absolutely appalling way to run a restaurant, a birthday meal ruined, a manager her couldn’t even come over to us to apologise after we were being rushed out and frankly a birthday meal ruined. The one good from the evening was that the young lady that tended our table was extremely apologetic and was very good."

"Not sure if it’s was because it was a groupon deal, the the menu of choice was poor and we have had better value for our groupon. I was disappointed as I choose this restaurant due to the reviews, but the I wish I hadn’t gone now it was to surprise my partner, the portions were small and basic and we felt hungry after.. so we won’t be returning"

"Visited ZoukTea Bar Grill after a few years, didnt really enjoy the food back then but i can say i was really impressed. It was really busy but the service was good, the food was served to us fairly quick. The Food was lovely, just perfect. Highly recommended. I would book online first as it can get busy."

"Bangkok bar and restaurant: a place to eat do not go. we booked the restaurant for the birthday of my two friends. However, we booked with michele (the main waitress) and she was aware that we had a celebrity dinner. in 11th hour she told us we had to be ready at 9.30 a.m. because they're going to record a gay function. eating in there is poor and is not what they apply. the selection of seafood included 2 cloves. 1 squid and atrociously repent the disorder of the noodles. michele the waitress in there she claimed £12.80 top (she told us to keep hush hush about it because she didn't want to share it with the other members of the staff). she sold us medium quality bottles wein every price she tied from £14 pound to £16 pounds. after we bought 4 bottles of wine and she accused us of drinks and eating: £107.40 and for the most laborious quality food we tasted. she kicked us out of the restaurant with the apology that her gay customers needed our table. It is remarkable that our esstic was empty until its closing time. food quality: very bad: 2/10 hospitality: 0/10 customer requirements meet: -1/10 price for money: 3/10 conclusion: do not go to bangkok bar thai restaurant to eat in 40 princess street, in some. it is based on gay and fetish functions so it treats the remaining restaurant customers appalling. keep her money going to eat in a beautiful Chinese restaurant on the street in princess street. bangkok restaurant does not nicely its customers. eating is horrific. very dry pasta and over fried rice. their seafood contains: 1 calamari and 2 mush. the waitress michelle after taking her money, she offers a terrible service."

"Beautiful building and a very high spec but comfortable restaurant, the service is high end but it’s the perfect blend of fine and casual dining, a winning combo. Staff were helpful, friendly and very attentive, filling up your water when needed was a classy touch. They lose a star for the squid starter, the sauce it came with was delicious but the squid was very tough and tasteless really poor for such a beautifully presented dish. The ribeye steak however was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection and seasoned well, could not have been better. Overall a good experience and would recommend."
