"If they want to take tee in the afternoon, but with a modern, this is a great place. eating was so good and well presented. the service was excellent. it is fair to say its one of the best afternoon teas I had. will return and recommend to others."

"At the arrival we had no booking, they said, open table had not sent it through. the hotel did not want to put us until I showed my booking confirmation. with the booking that was not confirmed with the hotel, we were told that not everything was available on the menu. if they ask for food needs, a person asked from our party if they could make sure they get eier mayonnaise and huh. When that came, no one got this sandwiches, so we wondered if we could have an egg-cannaise sandwich. twenty minutes later, the sandwich came out and it was a cheese and pickles. we complained again and said it would take fifteen minutes to cook the egg, at this point we said that 's good, we wait twenty minutes later and still no sandwich, we complained to the manager that we have been there for over an hour and still no sandwich that was asked at the beginning. at this point the manager replied, I don't think they waited long! When the sandwich arrived, it turned out that it was mayonnaise with three tiny pieces of ice. that was a day after, for which we refused to pay."

"Great location, terrible room. Paid £100 for a room with dirty carpet, walls, bathroom was full of scum. When I complained was just told hotel wa full, wasn’t offered any kind of resolution (free breakfast, or a discount) Would go as far to say it’s one of the worst hotel stays Iv had. There is a hostel round the corner, for £49 and it’s way cleaner. Wouldn’t stay here again if you paid me."

"It was nice, a bit chavvy in the bar area (clientele), the restaurant had a better atmosphere. The food was quite bland, it's very expensive for bland food. I had to cover my chateaubriand in salt and pepper sauce to get some taste, I never normally put anything on my steak. The cocktails were great, the service was good, although slow. The desserts were ok. Honestly, I expected more for a brand new upmarket restaurant but it was slightly disappointing. Average at best. It's a nice bar to go for cocktails with friends and the views are incredible over Manchester but I would eat before you go."
