"Good local bar. Although some of their cocktails could be improved. A good spicy margarita has the right balance of sourness, sweet freshness, a hint of spice and savouriness. This one is just spice and salt, and if I weren't such an alcoholic fiend, I wouldn't have finished it."

"Have not been back over eight months so checked it out in the morning. Although there are impacts from COVID-19 everywhere, this cafe is still very busy. The only difference is the social distance that everyone keeping to avoid spreading of the virus.<br/>Ordered a flat white and a almond croissant. Coffee is as good as usual. If it can heat up the croissant, marks on this review should be higher.<br/>Previous rating: July 2019 4/5; Oct 2018 4/5"

"Neil and Mary who own this business are the friendly suppliers of good old-fashioned healthy cooking. Such a variety of options. Cake and slices are made at home, a rarity at this time. The coffee is also excellent."

"Staff are really friendly, also very generous with the ingredients...best thing about eating here is that you won’t not be filled. Food is made right in front of you. Love spicy food and I’d have to say their spicy sauce was quite spicy but I loved it!!"

"4/5<br/ <br/ Ambience:<br/ The restaurant was very decorated, and the inclusions of its logos, as well as Mexican related symbols added to the authenticity of the restaurant, and establishes itself as a Mexican restaurant<br/ <br/ Service:<br/ The waiters were very nice, checking on us and asking if we required anything else<br/ <br/ Food:<br/ the tortillas were kept warm, and they were soft, which I enjoyed. The sauces were flavoursome, except for the salsa which was a bit watery. The meat was well marinated, however some pieces were a bit hard and not as tender. The churros were slightly crunchy, and the addition of ice cream and chocolate sauce really added to the flavour, making it sweet and delicious.<br/"

"Have been going here for decades (even before it was Montezuma's), and have never had a bad experience. Totally fresh, delicious and prompt meals with genuine Mexican flavours and decor. We even took some Mexican friends there to get their opinion, and they said it was very much like something from Mexico City but as they were from a quiet country region it was a little bit over the top for them, and can definitely become a little bit noisy, at times"
