"Not the best thing I ever had and did not definitiw the worst. I got the brisket plate and thought they took me in discs. very thin discs with not much taste. the woman was pulled pork and it was dry. and mac-n cheese were moderate. the sauces were good. we came for a late lunch so that the line wasn't long, but eating came fast. many seats and a large selection of local beers!"

"The downtown tourist guides directed me to Leonard's while I was walking around downtown Memphis. The host at the door was exceptionally friendly and energetic, and the cooks and wait staff were great too! Being from out-of-town, I'm not sure how Leonard's stacks up against other BBQ restaurants, but I know the pulled pork sandwich I had was flavorful, and I didn't run across any gristle or stray chunks of fat. Leonard's is certainly a solid choice for a BBQ restaurant in the downtown area."

"OK, so after trying all of the major rib joints in the city, I feel confident in saying that Central BBQ is not in the top 3, in my opinion. It's OK, but not great, and Memphis has Great to offer. The sides are less than we'd hoped for too. Go for the combination of great sides, great ribs and great service."

"This is a place off the beaten path in an alley walla here it is a cute small outside. A warm inviting interior. Greeted with a hello welcome. The interior is very clean deco is great. We started with a beer catfish bites. They are the best. Light ,fluffy alot of them. Next the bbq ribs are fabulous, tender, moist,meaty served with a side of tasty sauce. Comes with 2 sides which are good. The service is friendly,happy , prompt. Probably the best kept secret off Beale Street. A couple of blocks from the Peabody hotel. Go enjoy you won't be disappointed. Parking: The entrance is off the main street very small sign for 4 -5 business. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Recommended dishes: Arnold's BBQ Sauce, Ribs For Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Free parking lot"

"What a great sound! the black ribs were delicious! Actually everything we had was delicious and my bananenpudding! yum yum. next time we are in memphis we will be absolutely back! and sherry, you were the sweetest. they made our food even better."
