"The absolute best coffee! I buy whole bean coffee here a couple of times of month. I also pick up coffee to send to friends out of state and local friends and family, as it's not always easy for them to get to Bay View from Dodge Co. I've tried many local roasters and nothing compares. If you love dark roasts that are low acid and smooth, this is a great choice. If you have acid reflux, the dark oily roasts do not cause harsh heartburn like many other coffees do. They have lighter and brighter roasts as well, that's not my taste, but if it's what you're looking for you have the option. The customer service is friendly and always willing to help you make decisions. The prices are very reasonable."

"Very interesting and varied selections. Highlights were dessert, steak tartar and wagyu (sp? beef steak but all the courses were great. I've had my last pairing of wine at a tasting menu. Not just at EsterEv but in general, sommeliers are always challenging you to try something out of your wheelhouse. I know that I do not like dessert wines or sweet German wines, which were abundantly represented, so bad on me for not asking enough questions before purchasing the wine pairing."

"Had a 6:45 reservation. It was pouring rain and in the seven highway miles from our house to the restaurant there were three accidents slowing traffic. Yet, we arrived at 6:58. Our reservation was cancelled at 6:57. Twelve minutes late!! (We were seated anyway but that's not the point)."

"Swig was a perfect place to meet out-of-town friends who were staying in the downtown area. The menu was diverse enough to offer salads, small plates, sandwiches and full entrees...something for everyone's palette. Our service was excellent and not at all rushed...all in all, a very pleasant experience."
