"Food was fantastic! I ordered the vegetarian spring rolls and the Vietnamese coffee milk tea...both were delicious Staff were extremely kind and helpful, plus the restaurant was very clean. Would 100% go back again and will be recommending to all of my friends."

"I stopped in this morning because I saw they had breakfast sandwiches. Great little place between the river skywalk and the wisconsin avenue skywalk. The breakfast sandwich was the best I've had from the area (starbucks, .citynet, dunkin, my office) and the CHEAPEST! It was less than $4 for a breakfast sandwich. Their lunch options looked awesome. Lots of korean fusion (bulgogi, bibimbap, noodles/soup), they also featured a spaghetti dish today so probably they rotate different daily specials. They have a small convenience area with travel sized meds and candy/snacks/granola bars. It seemed like it was a mother/son who owned the place and both of them were an absolute joy to talk to."

Servers very polite and prompt; a little bit of a wait for the food itself, but definitely worth it! "It is close to my house in bayview and love to eat and the staff. so kind and greet each time they walk in the door. so happy with the texting pre ordering service and the bradley center location. my man works for the bucks and I'm playing with everyone. so happy I can eat healthy if I don't want to eat arena! please don't even go there!"

"First things first, this is NOT a traditional Izakaya. At the time I went (early 2021) small plates and drinks were not their strong suit. However, as a modern Japanese fusion restaurant, they are very good. I particularly liked the cream cheese and tofu sushi dish and their truffle soy sauce is excellent. The atmosphere is nice, good place for busi, a date or a family and the service is attentive. I was a little annoyed that Izakaya is in their name when this is pretty clearly not an Izakaya, but that doesn't mean they don't have good food."

"My wife and I went for a dinner date after being gifted a certificate for Tess as a wedding present. I am amazed we had never been before. Such fine food tucked away just off of Oakland on the eastside. I highly recommend Tess."

"As always, Blue Bat meets and exceeds our expectations. We love getting to Blue Bat by boat so the near by pier parking is a plus! The tuna poke bowl is a must, the falafel appetizer is a staple, and any hand held is delectable. My personal favorite is the shawarma chicken. And of course always splurge and get the pitcher of Blue Bat margaritas. Worth every dollar! The service was also wonderful. I forgot our servers’ name from last night, but he was very accommodating and helpful to our group of 7."
