"Awesome hamburgers, fries, and onion rings. The fried pickles are a bit spicy, but I love them that way. Friendly staff that were more than helpful on my family's first time in the restaurant. We will definitely be there again."

"My waitress Beth was the BOMB! All the server assistants were kind and fast. We will be back and ask for Beth. Me and my family hadn't been here since before Covid. The food was good. Always the blooming onion!! I got the Salmon with a sweet potato and veggies. We topped off the dinner with the limited time chocolate and peanut butter mousse dessert."

"The food itself here isn 't bad, but the service is garbage. We placed a huge pick up order in May for curbside. Curbside because this is a big order and it 's raining. I arrive. Wait 20 minutes after checking in for our pickup... Nothing. I finally call and they tell me, Oh, we don 't come outside when it 's raining. Excuse me? I 've picked up here before when it was raining? You guys didn 't think to tell me TWENTY minutes ago when I checked in? You didn 't think to tell me when I placed the order FOR CURBSIDE?So I get our food back to the office. They messed up my order completely. I call the restaurant. The manager assures me, after explaining my messed up order and the rain debacle, that he would place a gift certificate for future use to be picked up. Great, fine.I go to pick up the voucher one day. No go. They say it 's impossible to do a gift certificate like that. That I have to order the same food they messed up again instead of getting a voucher I could use to come back with my family one day.I 've reached out to Walk Ons about this. I 've sent more than one complaint in. I have NOT ONCE got a reply a call, an email, anything. That 's fine. Our office orders out pretty regularly for up to 20 people. We 'll take our business somewhere else."

"If I could give this place, zero star I would, waited for always to eat when the owner had the back with food on a table, he sat, a funny conversation with a few people, when the waitress about the problem, she explained, there was only one cook where he worked on every order, apologise they have already been eating for me a couple as long as they have already been repairing there. my man ordered a phillie to get something completely different, my parents had to bake kartoffels that were not even done. every time the waitress died, she looked like she was afraid of the dead or never wanted to cry if we wanted to refill etc. didn't offer to take some of our bill as we had to wait 45 minutes on our chips a cheese dip"

"Hush Puppies are phenomenal didn't know they are served before the meal. What a soft fluffy surprise! The lunch specials are great and plenty with their side variations. The fried catfish filet was great! Quick service but they were pretty empty for a late lunch."

"1000% agree with the harsh remarks. Literally went and had about 3 negative interactions before my guest and I were even seated. We still dined because it was their place of choice. Never desired to return. We know how things usually have a way of not going in our favor so I played it cool. I don’t recommend Portico to anyone coming to Monroe Louisiana. Also the flies are out of control. Flies and other small gnat like insects."
