"We came here as a result of the excellent Tripadvisor ratings and we can see why they get them. A little off the beaten track but still walkable from the city centre and worth finding. The menu is small but everything is excellent. Despite having...visited France dozens of times this was the first time I’ve had frog’s legs as an option and as a starter they were superb. Very well cooked. There are three options each for meat and fish and we both chose the specials, which are both based on what was fresh and available from the butcher/fishmonger. It’s great when restaurants do this. The slow cooked lamb I had was superb and bursting with flavour and the cod in vanilla beurre blanc my wife had was exquisite too. Food was excellent, setting was excellent and the service was spot on. On what was an unbelievably hot evening, the hard work and professionalism of the staff and the ability of the kitchen to still serve flawless food is to be applauded and is a credit to them all Truly one of the best meals we’ve had in Nantes."

"We arrived around 8:30 p.m. and we had the chance to be welcomed on one of the last tables. The server quickly brought us the menu by asking if we wanted an aperitif. We looked forward to the proposed dishes and chose a Saint-Jacques shell risotto and a bar and eightre tartar, both succulent. For dessert I had chosen the strawberry and my friend an Irish Coffee, both delicious. Thank you to the chef and to the pastry chef. We'll be back."
