"Ambience and food is very really enjoyable. Loved the margaritas too. We got a very decent spot near the window upstairs facing the water so I enjoyed that too."

"I told our server that I was ordering cilantro lime rice and black beans because it was my understanding that they were vegan, and she confirmed they were. I also specified no cheese, but my food came covered in cheese plus sour cream. That was probablythe fault of the kitchen, but the server apologized and took it back to the kitchen to be replaced. In the meantime, myhusband's food was getting cold. She came back from the kitchen and said the chef wanted to know if I was vegan, (I thought thatwould have been obvious at that point, but apparently not. I will be more specific in the future. because the sauce on theenchiladas had beef stock in it. I skipped the sauce and was glad the chef had asked the question, but I think the server shouldhave been taught by management about which menu items have animal ingredients and which ones are plant based. She seemed to bein a rush to get rid of us despite the fact that it wasn't late at night. She dropped the check at the table without asking ifwe wanted coffee or dessert. So, in general, it was not a good dining experience due to the mediocre service."

"Possibly the best Mexican restaurant I've ever visited. The nacho chips were crisp and fresh. They came with 2 salsas. One was the traditional tomato based salsa, but the second was a sweet salad dressing type of dip. My Churrasco was cooked correctly, with tasty cheese, onions and rice. Even the beans were tasty. Great that it was done for a reasonable price. Any restaurant would do well to emulate Casa Vieja."

"New to the neighborhood. Takeout order on Sunday. Place was half full with no one wearing any masks, including employees. Ordered one chicken and one steak taco. The tacos came with just meat, tortillas and lemon. (no veggies, no sour cream, no guac....nothing). The steak meat was over cooked. We also ordered the Grilled chicken with rice and beans. The chicken had a glaze, no spices and not marinated. Chicken tested like cooked in microwave."

"Kudos to the gentle man who helped us tonight , they were out of our favorite smoked Tabasco sauce and the lovely manager (who I believe was the manager felt bad they were all out and accommodated us with chips and quac. And then asked if we didn’t mind him taking our trash for us. Dude you rock! We will be coming back because of you! Two Thumbs up, awesome work ethic ,even though we didn’t get our sauce we still left with a fully belly and a smile on our face!"

"Excellent food. The staff were really nice and helped me with my order. On problem was that the food was a bit pricey. My daughter and I had dinner and it cost 48 dollars. The salad ingredients were absolutely delicious and fresh and the meat was well done and tasty."
