"The food here is only good to people who are not used to home cook meals they always given you any type of food hard little chicken I'm a nice A little I mean chicken wings chicken wings are already small so how you giving out preemie chicken wings they don't follow your instructions they make your food how the majority likes it not how you like it would never eat there again I tried them stop route I'm just like I forget why I stopped going there but won't forget again go to Crowns if you live in Mount Vernon 14th Avenue and 1st Street I swear they got somebody over there in the back frying that chicken and crisco you will not be disappointed"

"Follow up review... August 2021: The food is still very good for solid fried chicken fare. Great battered and meaty sandwiches are sizable (and should be for the prices... . From a merchandising perspective, they seem a little lost with too many gears and choices. The service, on the other hand, is a bit lost. Granted the pandemic has knocked the wheels off of owners finding capable restaurant workers, but like another review, I was told my food would be ready 5-10 minutes after I phone-ordered it. Rushed over to pick it up, only to wait another 15 minutes for the crew of 3 people to figure out my order along with two other phone-in orders. We are really rooting for Sound Chicken to succeed. Hoping they can work these kinks out."
