Near the PNE OLYMPIC Speed Skate Venue on Hastings Renfrew<br <br Cushy little immaculate PUB with a SHOW BIZ feel, very friendly cozy place lots of tv's plants leather tub chairs...I like the food and the wait staff were extra funny .<br Sat enjoyed STeal-in-the-box for $6.99 on Sunday but go for the KARAOKE on Friday Nights and the Blues on saturdays .<br <br The food is fast , draft is $4.25 not bad highball 4.25<br <br Lots of Hockey types in Winter , local Show Biz hangout.... older crowd during the week and at lunch ,"

"Been going to the bar/restaurant for years and with this new owner everything as gone to crap. Not only has food quality gone down but portions are 3x smaller then they used to be. If they can’t make good food then they shouldn’t be making food at all. Quality is -10/10 total not worth wasting money on. Could make something better at Home."

"We were going to go to a different English pub in Vancouver but while looking at it on TripAdvisor a reviewer stated this pub was better. This pub would not be out of place in England. The decor and food is very English. Waitstaff are friendly and attentive. I think the Guinness I had was the best except from when I was last in London. We had the crisps for appetiser and they were very Moorish. For mains I had the fish and chips, again a very nice dish. Other food coming out looked very good too. The stuffed Yorkies had me having food envy. Next time I'm in Vancouver I will be sure to visit this pub again."

"The EXP Restaurant+ Bar is one of those places that you would think wouldn't work... but the thing is it does and does it wonderfully. Mixing Games, casual dining and drinks could not be more fun! by having memorable/nostalgic footage and music of our favorite...video games growing up in the background, to embracing the new generation and promoting the new games that are impacting our culture today. The team at EXP does a great job reminding all of us that it isn't a bad thing to embrace the little kid in our hearts. I don't particularly find the food memorable, however why did you come to a place like this for fine dining? if that was what you were after you should have done the research (all the geeks and nerds surrounding are way more verse in that area than you, believe me). These people are here because we know EXP is the king for a casual, light-hearted dining experience. The names of the video game inspired drinks are memorable, I love taking the Pokemon Challenge Shots, they are always a crowd favorite. What's more hilarious is that the bulbasaur shot is usually picked the most (unlike in the game). Make a point to get to know the staff and individuals who run the very memorable events that occur here and try to take part in them, it would be such a loss to the Vancouver scene if we do not embrace and support such a UNIQUE location like the EXP Restaurant Bar. I plan to visit this place regularly so I can level up in this video-game we all play called life. Cheers! p.s. waiting till you get your full bar license, so I can drink at the Bar! I would definitely give it a excellent rating it you had it!"
