"It was a very hot day and we asked for a table outside. It was a very nice outdoor area but I honestly wasn't too excited about the menu.<br/ This was the first meal I ever had in Canada and it was so much better than I had ever expected!<br/ <br/ The scrambled eggs were amazing and the gazpacho was especially aromatic (I have tried a whole lot of gazpachos and very few have pleased me like this one). The rest of the family enjoyed the meal as well.<br/ The server was nice and she had a cute french accent. The indoor seats were also nice.<br/ Initially I thought it was too pricey but I later realized that food in Canada is expensive in general, so this place actually has very fair prices."

"I love poutine. My hands down favourite was a chip truck that traveled between Ottawa & Hull that I patronized almost every day for 3 months. Now in Vancouver, I thought I'd never taste that cheesy gravy goodness ever again. Everyone seems to be on that poutine chipwagon these days: Costco, McDonald's, NY Fries - still unsatisfactory. So, when I heard of Frenchie's and had personal friends rave about it my hopes were raised. The smoked meat was imported from Quebec and the proprietor was Quebecois - how could this go wrong?Well, it did. Mind you, it wasn't that it was all horrible - it just wasn't good enough. And the real problem is that they upsell you like there's no tomorrow. So having been there a couple times and giving it a chance, I cannot but give it a mediocre mark. The smoked meat sandwich was good but did not stand out despite the celebrated imported meat. The poutine was just okay - it wasn't served hot enough to melt the curds to the right consistency, even with the gravy (and this happened more than once). A companion ordered a "steamie" hot dog and it was the chief disappointment. Worst hot dog ever served in a restaurant. Being asked to pay money for that is an insult. It was basically a short hot dog you would pull out of a package and slap on a tiny bun. The fact that it was steamed does not make it acceptable. The beer selection was good, but all in all, the meals weren't worth the money. If you have had great authentic poutine from la belle province, and long to taste it again like me, keep looking. C'est dommage, (It's sad/too bad)."

"The bakery business is becoming quite competitive on the Drive and I love that Andy's is continuing to be a family run business."

"Good idea, poor execution. burgers without a side dish cost almost $20, and a hot dog is around $13. While everything was okay, nothing was that memorable. Meats come from a BC ranch which focuses on ethical animal treatment and breads etc are sourced locally. There is a limited selection of soups and sausages sold frozen, and bone broths served hot, but overall the place needs to expand the menu ( ie. no French fries at a burger joint ), and decide what it wants to be.... we even saw socks for sale, at over $20. Say what?!"

"It was a very lovely bread place. Their breads were always freshly made, crispy and have rich flavors as well. I also like getting their sweet and tasty cakes once in a while. To add, their breads also have this unique texture and they looked so amazing. It was such a sweet store with kind and helpful staff. You would definitely enjoy their foods."
