"The staff was excellent and very friendly. They are what kept any stars on here at all. The food was almost completely devoid of any smoked flavor. It could have been cooked in any oven. There was barely any seasoning at all. By the number of guestscoming in, it must not always be this way. I noted when we walked in that the BBQ aroma was very slight compared to every BBQrestaurant I've ever been to and I wondered about that."

"I had the burnt ends, pulled pork, sausage, and beans. Burnt ends were really good, they could use a bit more flavor, but were tender. Pulled pork was also very tender and really good. Sausage was excellent and had a little heat to it, but I did question if it was made in-house completely. Beans were meh, tasted a little like they had been improved Busch?s Best."

"Went in on a Saturday night and you could've shot a cannon through the place, no business at all. We were seated quickly and beverages came out promptly, but after that it went downhill and fast. My friend ordered mozzarella sticks and they came out cold in the center. My prime rib was tough, something that should not be. If the cuts of meat suck, marinate them or age them so they don't come out like shoe leather. The service was good and I don't blame the cooks, this lies squarely on management, as it's a quality control issue.. I'm not picky, but theres only so much you can give a free pass on and this place exceeded that limit."
