"We visited on Sunday 18/9/22 and it was very very busy. We managed to find somewhere to sit and despite how busy it was, we where served very quickly. We got the Roast beef dinner with extra cauliflower cheese as a side. The food was faultless and it was clean plates all around. The staff came to check we where happy with our food and are always friendly. Just waiting for our desserts now. Highly recommend and we will definitely be visiting again soon."

"On a very busy Saturday night, I ordered a delicious tartiflette and green salad. The only drawback was that the tartiflette was so rich, I presume due to the amount of Reblochon in it, I couldn't eat more than a third of it. I was offered the rest of it to take away but, stupidly, I demured. It was probably one of the finest dish I've eaten at The Roebuck."

"The event was a buffetmeal following my cousins funeral. The team were most helpful and the food plentiful and really fresh, a nice variety. The room was comfortable and very clean. All that we could have wished for."

"Having had several lovely meals here and probably one of the best Sunday roasts around,we booked a table for 7pm on Sunday. When we arrived and told them we had booked a table I heard the guy behind the bar speak to who I think was the manageress and heard her tell him to see if he could find us a table. The guy led us around the corner where he told us he had bad news. He said they had stopped serving at 7 as it was the weekend before a bank holiday! No it’s not the weekend before a bank holiday, that’s next weekend Why weren’t we told when we booked a table to eat that they weren’t serving food. Why weren’t we told at the bar that they weren’t serving food. Needless to say we turned around and walked out and will never return. 1 star review because you can’t give none."
