"1st time here. Excellent lasagna with homemade pasta and sauce plus a pretty good pizza too. Really friendly staff...along with the owner and his wife making the rounds to all the tables. Made us really feel welcome. This place is on our list to go again."

"With the children to take away. We had sandwiches, salads and children had spaghetti with meatballs. Good stuff. They have a number of prepared foods and frozen pastas etc. I had the caprese sandwich and added balsamika that was pretty good. We ordered for 4 adults and 5 children and the tab was about $100 out of the door."

"One of our favorite places to eat near the apartment. The food was authentic and of great quality. The service was the kindest we had. The waiter was so personal. It's so relaxing. We take our favorite pizza and pasta to enjoy with our wine. You cannot beat this restaurant for its delicious food, reasonable prices and excellent service!"

"I'm sorry for the 2-star rating. Every time we get to town, this is our first station. I had the lunch meat special and it wasn't good. Meatloaf was cold and hard/leather. Garlic bread was dry. I hope that was a one-time thing and will give them another chance. Service was great!"

"My kids wanted pizza and pasta, so I started looking at nearby restaurants in Palm Springs. We have a lot of Italian friends and know what authentic Italian food tastes like. This is what we were seeking. I read various Yelp reviews for a number of places, and L’Olivo had consistently positive reviews. It was handy I could make a reservation using Open Table. When we arrived, we were not disappointed. The restaurant is airy, and the tables are not too close together. The staff is mostly Italian. My daughter devoured the bread and got more! The house sparkling wine was reasonably priced and tasty. My girls ordered their pizza and pasta (gnocchi in pesto), and we adults had the pollo calabrese and lobster ravioli with minestrone and Caesar salad to start. Every bite was delicious. The service was outstanding—attentive without hovering. We ordered the tiramisù for dessert. It was scrumptious. When we received the check, we also got a small plate with a biscotti for each of us. It was by far the best biscotti I’ve ever had: flavourful and not too dry/hard. I highly recommend L’Olivo."

"If you want a real Italian food, this is the place! Try seafood pasta, squid gives a fishy taste and the black color it is a very unique dish very simple, but delicious. The service is fast good wine selection friendly things. Heart of downtown hard to miss!"

"Great fresh homemade pasta dishes! Staff is friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. This is a small family owned and operated Italian restaurant. They have inside and outside dining. The only drawback is they do not have a full bar, (no liquor). That said, they have a nice wine selection."
